This resort does not operate a 24-hour reception. Those who wish to disconnect from daily routine may make use of the property's health and wellness facilities. For the most active ones, there is an extensive offer of sports and activities available.

The Lakeview Hotel, Shanty Creek Resort

Located in Bellaire, Applesauce Inn Bed and Breakfast is in a rural location, a 4-minute drive from Grass River Natural Area and 6 minutes from Short's Brewing Company. This inn is 4. 7 mi (7. 5 km) from The Chief Golf Course and 5. 9 mi (9. 6 km) from Torch Lake. Take in the views from a terrace and a garden and make use of amenities such as a picnic area. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite. Take advantage of the inn's room service (during limited hours). Just a few things for you all to be in the know about:What to Wear:Wedding attire will be dressy casual for both Scott and I. The groom will be in jeans and a sport coat if that helps make any attire based decisions! ;) It might be chilly or hot as hell.....ya never know with Michigan weather! So be sure to be comfortable and ready to party with lots of friends and family for the night!Directions to Cedar Bend Farms:It can be a little tricky to get down to the valley where the little farm is located. Your phone GPS may try and take you down a treacherous seasonal road - DON'T DO IT! Drive into Mancelona. You will want to drive through town to Gill-Roy's hardware store (on the corner of State St/M-88 and Cedar River Rd) and turn onto Cedar River Rd. Follow that road for about 3 miles and it will take you to a winding hill. Once at the bottom, turn right at the first intersection you come across. When you reach the top of the hill, we will be on your left! We will have signs posted at the corner and to direct you to the parking area.Parking:As you pull into Cedar Bend Farms, parking will be in the large grassy area immediately to the right. We will have signs and someone to guide you to park. No Registry:Please, please, please......we beg of you....... absolutely NO GIFTS!!! Scott and I are very blessed to have all we need in our home and more. We would be oh so happy that if you feel the need to bring a "gift", please bring a donation from the wish list at Cherry Capital Humane Society. If you would like to do a monetary donation, we will split those between Antrim County Animal Control and Kalkaska County Animal Control. If you want to bring your favorite beverage, feel free :)Restrooms:Restrooms are located in the Stone Barn which is directly behind the pavilion where the reception is. You will see it on the walk to the chapel. Keep and eye out for signs to point you in the right direction! We cannot wait to celebrate with you all!!!
